Dhananjay Ahluwalia helped build the foundations of mountain biking and adventure travel in the Indian Himalayas. His work with MTB Himalaya and HASTPA led to Being Out There, a boutique travel and expedition outfit, and later to InRahi’s line-production work.
From international cycling events to projects for National Geographic and History Channel, he brought together an instinct for place, practical planning and a love of storytelling. Dhananjay passed away in February 2026. His vision continues through InRahi and Being Out There.
