Walking routes, mountain trails and time spent exploring Himachal’s valleys and landscapes.

The travel, adventure and experience-led side of our story. Born in the Himalayas, shaped by the people who journeyed with us.
Dhananjay founded Being Out There as a boutique adventure travel outfit in 2012, building on years of mountain biking, motorsport and event experience.
Its cycling and walking adventures brought travellers into Himachal and Ladakh. Small groups, personal involvement and local relationships shaped a way of exploring that was as much about the people as the route.
Today, Being Out There sits within the InRahi ecosystem as its travel and experience-led expression. Its history is part of InRahi’s foundation; its next chapter is being carried forward by Sheetal and the team.

A core part of the story, including 32 Manali–Leh rides organised between 2012 and 2017.

Water-based adventure formed part of the wider outdoor experience, alongside the mountains and roads.

Sheetal’s vision includes experiences that bring travel, the outdoors and yoga together.
Gaurav’s Hatha Yoga practice and the team’s mountain experience bring different perspectives to that work. Talk to us about the kind of journey you have in mind; dates, activities and arrangements are discussed directly with the team.
Contact the team with your preferred region, travel window, group size and interests. We can discuss the experience you have in mind and the practical arrangements it would require.
Bookings and current travel plans are handled directly with the team. Please enquire for the latest availability, dates and itinerary before making travel arrangements.
These arrangements depend on the route and the agreed itinerary. Discuss the level of accommodation, meal requirements, transfers and activity support with the team so the scope is clear before confirming.
Yes. It is the travel and experience-led expression within the InRahi ecosystem. Film-production enquiries are handled through InRahi Films; journey and experience enquiries are handled with the Being Out There team.
Mountain-bike races, the Manali–Leh ride and multi-activity expeditions helped shape the approach that later supported InRahi’s productions.
Being Out There’s home within InRahi brings the history, people and enquiries together in one place.
